The Himalayan Spiti Escape is more than just a driving expedition—it is a journey born from the vision of Hari Singh, who co- conceptualised and christened this adventure back in 2013 along with the Adventure Team. What began as an idea, fuelled by his love for the Himalayas, has since grown into an annual tradition, bringing together adventurers and enthusiasts year after year. Hari was a true legend of the mountains. Few knew the Himalayan ranges as intimately as he did, and his knowledge, wisdom, and deep connection with these landscapes enriched every journey he led. Yet, beyond his remarkable expertise, it was his larger-than-life personality that left an indelible mark on everyone he met. He had a rare gift for making people feel at home, whether they were seasoned explorers or first-time participants. Through his stories, humour, infectious enthusiasm, and the countless pranks and laughs he shared along the way, Hari built a community bound by friendship, adventure, and a shared love for the mountains.

As we gather for this year’s Himalayan Spiti Escape, we do so in remembrance of the man who inspired it all. Every mountain pass, every winding road, and every shared moment carries a part of his legacy. This drive is dedicated to Hari Singh—an adventurer, a storyteller, a mentor, and a friend whose spirit will forever remain woven into the fabric of this journey. More than ever, this edition stands as a tribute to his enduring love for the Spiti Escape and the majestic Himalayan mountains that he cherished so deeply. By continuing this memorable drive, his team proudly carries forward his vision, passion, and spirit of adventure, ensuring that the journey he created continues to inspire generations of explorers to come.

Exclusions

• Travel to and from Chandigarh (air, rail, or road)
• Vehicle damage, tyre damage, clutch wear, or mechanical failure costs due to negligent driving
• Personal medical expenses or emergency evacuation beyond on-ground support
• Camera, drone, filming permissions and associated charges
• Alcoholic beverages and personal consumables
• Personal expenses laundry, room service, minibar, calls, gratuities
• Costs arising from weather, landslides, road closures, political restrictions, or force majeure
• Anything not explicitly listed under Inclusions

Disclaimers

1. Child Policy: Children below the age of Ten (10) years may attend the event without any participation fee. However, any additional costs incurred in respect of such children, including travel, meals, accommodation, or any other incidental expenses (if applicable), shall be borne exclusively by the accompanying parent or legal guardian.

2.Travel & Flight Booking Advisory: Participants are strongly advised to book refundable and/or flexible flight tickets. The organisers shall not be liable for any loss, cost, or inconvenience arising from flight cancellations, rescheduling, delays, or changes to the event schedule or itinerary.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Cancellation charges shall apply based on the time of receipt of the cancellation request prior to the scheduled departure date, as set out below:

• Four (4) weeks or more prior to departure: No cancellation charges (0%)
• Between four (4) weeks and (2) weeks prior to departure: Fifty percent (50%) of the total cost
• Less than (2) weeks prior to departure or thereafter: One hundred percent (100%) of the total cost

Any applicable refunds shall be processed in accordance with standard processing timelines upon receipt of a valid written cancellation request.
